ScSB annual meeting 2010
This year, the ScSB Biomaterials meeting will be held in the snowy mountains of Norway, combining Interfacing biology and materials with skiing. The programme includes both plenary lectures on Interfacing biology and materials from distinguished researchers, and the latest biomaterial research from Scandinavia. The schedule allows for both in depth insight to interfacial biomaterials, networking and skiing. The venue is placed directly in the ski slopes of the Olympic Arena, Hafjell.
Hafjell Alpine centre is located at the entrance of the Gudbrandsdalen valley, 15 km north of Lillehammer. The Olympic trail network has been extended and disposes 30 slopes offering winner experiences for skiers of all levels. 15 lifts, including the Gondola, serves the 835 vertical metres from the base to the top of the mountain. Hafjell`s trademark are long runs, excellent snow and sunny climate.
